The Post Office at Great Witley has always been a focal point in the village.

Judy Henshaws family ran the Post Office for many years, and Judy has recorded her  memories of buying the Post Office from Alfred Pratley in 1943. At that time the manually operated Telephone Exchange was inside the Post Office and Judy has also recorded a fascinating and funny memory of her father operating the telephone exchange.
